Vintage & Rare Mickey Mouse Wooden Wall Clock 19x15 3/4” Disney.
This is one of those pieces that instantly grabs your attention. Good or bad, it will be a topic of conversation for sure.
Measures 19” top to bottom, 15 3/4” wide.
Made of wood
There are no marks imprinted anywhere, which leads me to speculate that this was hand made by someone that had some artistic talent and know how. Judging by the image, I’m guessing this was made in the 70’s or 80’s. Leaning more towards the 80’s.
The image is iconic and the colors are perfect. The border is of a dark cherry color, rich and a high gloss.
The image portion has issues. I took as many pictures as possible to highlight the scuffs and light scratches. It doesn’t take away from the piece overall, IMO, but it is something to really consider if your looking for something that looks new and super clean.
There is no major damage to the wood.
The numbers and clock hands are of a brass color. The numbers are affixed securely. The clock works, but the hands show their age. It takes 1 AA battery. The clock mechanism could be replaced very easily if need be.
The clock weighs 3lbs 8 oz. There is a hanging bracket in the back.
This is one of those pieces that either speaks to you, or it doesn’t. It’s also one of those things that doesn’t come along often.
