  • Condition: Good to poor vintage played-with condition depending on the piece. Johnny himself is a mess, but all of his arm and leg parts are still here, he just needs repair. The box has tape in several places, denting and creasing and wear, but still pretty impressive to still be intact after all of these years! The accessories are in pretty great shape! Read full description for each piece. Instructions have a portion torn off of them and I don't have that part. Please see ALL photos for condition details and read the description below.     Description

    A great vintage toy by Marx, Johnny West, the Movable Cowboy. Unfortunately, Johnny has seen too many gunfights and needs repair to his arms and legs. He's got some great accessories and his original box, and here are some notes about each item:
    HAT (labeled as SOMBRERO on the instructions) - has a small notch on the back rim/edge, but otherwise looks nice.
    NECKERCHIEF - excellent condition!
    VEST - very good condition, but does have some indentions on the back.
    CARTRIDGE BELT WITH HOLSTER - good condition, but does have a notch in it where the belt meets the left side of the holster.
    PISTOL - excellent condition
    RIFLE - there are two here for you! One is in good condition, but does look like it got lightly chewed on the end. The other is in fair condition because I guess the family puppy really got ahold of this one, again with chewing on the end.
    COFFEE POT - good condition, normal scratching and wear.
    COFFEE CUP - very good condition
    SKILLET / FRYING PAN - good condition with normal scratching and wear, but also has a light chewing on the handle (that dang puppy!)
    SPURS WITH STRAPS - both spurs/straps are here and in good condition, but one is attached to Johnny's boot, and I'm not able to get it off of there (I'm afraid I'll break it).
    SACKS OF GOLD - great! They're all 3 here and looking good.
    WELLS FARGO BOX - fair condition, normal scratching and wear, but the lid is a bit warped on one side so it leaves a gap when closed (even though it is latched tightly. Hinges are in great shape
    CANTEEN - excellent condition, strap and all.
    BRANDING IRONS - there are 2 here and one is slightly curved with a little chewing on the end (again)
    CHAPS - fair condition. I think the straps are missing some tabs to attach them to the holes on the other side. But the main body of the chaps look good.
    BOX - Well, it's here and still nice and colorful, but it has a lot of tape, denting, creasing, age and wear to it. Nothing like having the original box, though!
    INSTRUCTIONS - torn at the top, so there is a missing piece.
    MISSING ACCESSORIES - I don't have the derringer or the knife.
