Mickey Mouse Alarm Clock - Lorus for Walt Disney - 2 AA Batteries NOT included.
This cute metal clock is intact, clean and all parts are there - except the batteries.  IT WORKS and the alarm is LOUD.  I checked it out. [I am selling this item for a friend who has moved, but she did not leave instructions.]  It looks as if a back plate is missing, but it is not.  Look closely at photos five and six. [Same photo - six is lightened.]The switch on the left turns the alarm on or off.  The small orange tab starts and stops the entire clock.  Two  AA batteries fit in the opening, both with positive poles up.  The first battery fits to the left and the second sits somewhat above it, overlapping, but to the right. They are then secure.  Initially you set the time with the small cog wheel inside the battery compartment.  You set the alarm with the cog in the center of the circle indent.  When the alarm goes off, it tinkles softly for a few seconds then becomes increasingly loud as the clapper hits the two gongs on top of the alarm with more force.  It's a good little alarm.  It's a cute Mickey Mouse clock with Mickey's arms indicating the hours and minutes plus a sweep second hand.
