    An amazing find to have the buckle as well as the belt. The belt does have the name Davy Crockett. Appears to read on belt- Steerhide Top Grain Bridle. Number 24.  The buckle fits into the belt. It looks like the color of mother of pearl on the buckle. It could be plastic on the background.
