  • Condition: Salvaged from an old home in Central New Jersey. It is made of solid Douglas Fir or pine and is stained and finished on one side and painted white on the other. The door is strong, sturdy, and in excellent structural condition. It has the typical nicks, scrapes, and scratches, which will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and whatever remains will be subtle, "character marks." There are no breaks, cracks, rot, warp, or any serious issues. The door is very well-built and is ready for another lifetime of service. The door's hinge mortises span the thickness of the door, which allows you to put your hinges on either side and define the door's swing.Dimensions:23 7/8" x 71 1/2" x 1 3/8"

    Rare, interior door salvaged from an old home in Central New Jersey. It is made of solid Douglas Fir  or pine and is stained and finished on one side and painted white on the other.
    When most people hear "pine" they think of a cheap, weak, soft   wood. New pine hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees don't have the same  insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that old   pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old have. Old pine is also much harder  and stronger than young  pine.
    Hardware
    :
    The  door is not equipped with any hardware. However, we have a good selection of period hardware to outfit  it (check out our eBay store).

    Condition
